The List

So here is our Thirty Under Thirty List. It has taken a little while to decide what we want to do and it has changed a few times… and we expect it to change again! This is a list that we have both agreed on and we are aiming to cross every item off. We are starting this on Nick’s 29th birthday and aiming to finish on Laura’s 30th birthday. It gives us a little under 18 months to complete it.

1. Ride a jet ski
2. Take a surfing lesson and stand up on a wave
3. Go skydiving
4. Snowboarding lesson
5. Become certified scuba divers
6. Snorkel/scuba dive at the Great Barrier Reef
7. Buy a house in London (watch this space in late August – we don’t want to jinx anything just yet!)
8. Collect 30 fridge magnets from 30 different locations
9. Walk/cycle/cross the Brooklyn Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, Harbour Bridge (DONE) and Tower Bridge
10. Attend a match at the US Open and Wimbledon (WE HAVE TICKETS!)
11. See a Flamenco Show in Spain
12. Road trip through Italy
13. Drive a convertible sports car
14. Wine tour in Napa Valley & Sonoma
15. Helicopter ride
16. Attend a cooking class together and cook what we were taught
17. Eat at world’s #1 restaurant
18. Climb the Eiffel Tower
19. Ride an elephant in Thailand
20. Learn a second language and hold a basic conversation
21. Ride together on the London Eye
22. Half marathon or Tough Mudder or a fun run (Done – Nick)
23. Go parasailing
24. Attend a Coldplay concert
25. Stick it to the man and start a business! (Nick)
26. Swim with dolphins
27. Somehow get upgraded on a flight – worth a try!
28. Get a photo each with a celebrity – it can be anyone!
29. Set and achieve savings goal for more travel (Done – ongoing)
30. Buy a miniature Groodle puppy and call him Rooney BARKLEY!
